The aim of this reading group is to discuss key texts from early AI scientists as well as philosophers who have engaged with philosophical problems of AI ranging from consciousness to embodiment and temporality. Readings will be circulated a week before each seminar and we ask participants to read them in advance to ensure a focused discussion.

See the programme.

Sessions are open to anyone interested. If you or someone from your team wishes to join, please send an email to Charlotte Gauvry (cgauvry@uni-bonn.de). Should you wish to present or discuss a paper, a work in progress, or any question regarding AI, please let her know.
