 earch focus is oriented towards East Asian philosophy in comparative conte
 xt\, and World Philosophy by seeking for the “universalizing.” \nXudon
 g Zhang is Professor of Comparative Literature and East Asian Studies at N
 YU. His research interests include critical theory\, modernism and moderni
 ty\, and twentieth-century Chinese literature and culture.
