News of the CST

The CST has new members: We welcome Dr. Julia Maria Mönig and Dr. des. Sergio Genovesi!

The guiding aim of the CST AI research group is to provide a forum in which researchers can gain new perspectives on their own work and regular input from across the university on topics surrounding AI, digital transformation and technology studies.

The interaction of philosophy, computer science and law is central to a certified AI. The purpose of the new project is to develop the procedures for generally accepted standards for AI systems and their verification. For this matter, interconnected catalogs of requirements with technical, legal and ethical-philosophical criteria are developed. The CST is responsible for the ethical-philosophical sub-project.

Aimee van Wynsberghe, one of the most internationally renowned researchers in the field of the ethics of artificial intelligence and robotics is coming to the University of Bonn.
